James Thomas Memorial Prize
Cyfrwng is honoured to have established the James Thomas Memorial Prize Essay competition. Dr James Thomas (1971–2007) was co-founder of Cyfrwng and co-editor of the first three issues of the journal.
In recognition of his contribution and vision, an annual prize essay encourages post-graduate students and early career scholars to contribute to debates within Welsh media by researching, writing and submitting for publication an article in the Cyfrwng journal.
The closing date for the submission of articles is 1st May each year.
